only avoids 1 skill, took the 300 damage because the summons werent completely dead, only injured. if you were to kill them this turn u wouldnt take the damage from them.

u took 300 from ur last turn, but u can prevent the damage if u kill the dragons.

u should invest in the move:

Cost: 750 kin
Needle Jessel(50 chakra)Block all techniques from last turn even unavoidables. deal 200 life damage to the user of each technique. 3 times per battle

it would help you defend from all attacks, and hurt the people attacking you. and it costs almost nothing to use.

you can run if u lik, but this is only a spar, so u wont be considered dead.
